Spook-tacular Halloween Rice Krispies Treats

Celebrate Halloween with fun and festive Rice Krispies Treats that are perfect for all ages! Get creative with colors and shapes to make them extra spooky.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz.) marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Red food coloring
  • Corn syrup (for fake blood)
  • Chocolate sauce or red icing (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat until completely melted.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Incorporate the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
  4. Add the red food coloring and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Shape the treats in a greased 9×13 inch pan and press down lightly.
  6. Let them cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
  7. Decorate with chocolate sauce or red icing and add candy eyes if desired.

Notes

These treats can be customized with sprinkles, nuts, and different flavors. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
