Halloween Monster Cupcakes

A fun and creative recipe for Halloween-themed cupcakes that look like little monsters!

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can creamy frosting (chocolate or white)
  • Food coloring (green, purple, etc.)
  • Candy eyes or small candies for decoration
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cake batter: combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Prepare your muffin pan by lining it with cupcake liners.
  4. Fill each liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Frost the cooled cupcakes with colored frosting.
  8. Decorate with candy eyes and sprinkles.

Notes

These cupcakes can be made a day ahead. Store in an airtight container and frost before serving for maximum freshness.
