Red, White, and Blue Dessert

A vibrant and easy layered dessert featuring strawberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and vanilla yogurt, perfect for any festive occasion.

  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 package of pound cake or sponge cake, cut into cubes
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by washing and drying the strawberries and blueberries. Slice the strawberries into thin rounds.
  2. Cube the pound cake into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Whip the cream until soft peaks form, if necessary.
  4. Layer the dessert starting with cake cubes, followed by yogurt, strawberries, and whipped cream. Repeat layers.
  5. Garnish with blueberries and mint leaves.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving.

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance; just add the fruits and garnish before serving.
