Süße Riegel (Sweet Bars)

Delightful sweet bars filled with oats, nut butter, chocolate, and dried fruits, perfect for creating sweet memories.

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or sunflower)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the rolled oats, almond flour, and dark chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Combine the maple syrup, nut butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in your choice of dried fruits, distributing them evenly throughout the mixture.
  6. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking dish and firmly press it down.
  7. Pop the baking dish into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown around the edges.
  8. Once baked, let the bars cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then lift them out and slice.

Notes

These bars can be frozen for up to three months. For a nut-free option, use sunflower seed butter.
