Rôti de Pommes au Miel et aux Épices

A romantic blend of roasted apples bathed in honey and warm spices that fills your kitchen with delightful aromas.

Ingredients

  • 4 Apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith recommended)
  • 4 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 2 Teaspoons of Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
  • 1 Tablespoon of Butter
  • Chopped Nuts (optional)
  • Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash and core the apples, then slice them into wedges.
  3. Mix the honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter in a bowl.
  4. Coat the apple wedges with the honey-spice mixture in a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes covered, then another 15-20 minutes uncovered until caramelized.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For a vegan option, substitute butter with coconut oil. You can also experiment with spices or add caramel for variations.
