Strawberry Jam Filled Treats

  • Wilton 8 Tip (or a zip-top bag with a small cut)
  • Strawberry Jam (or any favorite fruit preserves)
  • 1 cup softened butter (for dough)
  • 1 cup sugar (for dough)
  • 2 eggs (for dough)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (for dough)
  • 1 pinch vanilla extract (optional)
  • Powdered Sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the dough by mixing softened butter, sugar, eggs, and flour. Add vanilla if desired.
  3. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
  4. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a glass.
  5. Fill each circle with a small dollop of strawberry jam using the Wilton 8 tip or a zip-top bag.
  6. Cover each filled circle with another dough circle and press edges to seal.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes
