Homemade Sugar-Free Apple Chutney

A delightful and flavorful sugar-free apple chutney that pairs perfectly with meats.

Ingredients

  • 3 Apples, diced (mix of sweet and tart, e.g., Granny Smith and Honeycrisp)
  • 1/2 Onion, diced (yellow or sweet)
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cloves
  • Stevia or Monk Fruit, to taste
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Prep your ingredients by washing, peeling, and dicing the apples and onion.
  2. Combine in a medium saucepan with apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, ground cloves, salt, and sweetener.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  4. Watch it cook down for about 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice as needed.
  6. Cool down the chutney slightly before serving; store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Notes

Serve warm or cold; pairs well with roasted or grilled meats. Can also be used as a sandwich filling or a cheese board addition.
