Grandma’s Apple Crisp

A delightful apple crisp recipe that transforms your apple bounty into a comforting dessert, perfect for any occasion.

  • 68 medium-sized Apples
  • ¾ cup Granulated Sugar
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • Nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Core and slice your apples into thin wedges and toss with lemon juice.
  3. Sprinkle granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt over the apples.
  4. Combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
  5. Spread the apple mixture in a greased baking dish and layer on the crumble topping.
  6. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
