Easy Chocolate Pie

A delightful Easy Chocolate Pie that satisfies your chocolate cravings with a rich crust and a luscious filling.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • Pinch of flaky salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Bake the crust for about 8-10 minutes until set and fragrant.
  5. Cool the crust while preparing the filling.
  6. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  7. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well until combined.
  8. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  9. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until blended.
  10. Add the chocolate ganache to the filling and mix until combined.
  11. Spoon the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top.
  12. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  13. Slice and serve, garnished with chocolate ganache or whipped cream and a sprinkle of flaky salt.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute melted butter with coconut oil and cream cheese with plant-based cream cheese.
