Cheeseburger Pockets

A delightful handheld twist on classic cheeseburgers, wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough for a nostalgic comfort food experience.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: pickles, onions, lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Season it with salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Stir well and simmer for an additional minute.
  4. Prepare the crescent dough by unrolling it onto a clean surface.
  5. Cut out rectangles from the dough to form pockets.
  6. Fill each rectangle with about 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  7. Seal each pocket by folding the dough over and pinching the edges to close.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool for a few moments before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of fries or salad, and offer additional condiments like ketchup and mustard. Experiment with different fillings for a unique twist!
